Full Circle Cut for Cancer

Story

This valentine’s day how better to spend the day than to send love to those that need it most. I will be cutting my hair and donating it to the Princess Trust. Princess Trust takes donations of hair and create wigs for people suffering from Cancer. With what hair is left, pick me a haircut! I am raising money for 3 charities (YoungMinds, BowelCancer and RedCross). Each charity has a haircut and the charity that gets the most donations will win. If you don’t have a specific charity that you would like to donate to then go and have a look at the 3 pages and see which haircut you think is best (or in my case worst!). To support Bowel Cancer Uk and people suffering from Cancer, I planned on going bald but apparently this isn't showing enough sacrifice. What was picked isn't quite bald, but I am sure you will agree this is showing sacrifice!

If you would like my personal story of why I am raising money today and sacrificing my best asset then I have attached a short paragraph on Harry Fuller and Bowel cancer.

My cousin Harry was so loved by those that knew him. He always had a smile on his face and found it easy to put a smile on yours. His humour and positivity was infectious and so I loved every moment that I had the privilege to spend with him. He helped me when we lost my cousin Milan to suicide. I will never forget us embracing at the Milan's funeral and promising to look out for each other. No one knew he would be gone in just 3 months. That’s what cancer does, it creeps up and steals your life away. He was diagnosed with 4th stage bowel cancer and took this news as a challenge. He refused to give up, but sadly no one is too young or to important to die. He tackled Chemotherapy and did everything and anything he could to increase his chances. When he was moved to the hospice it started to sink in. how unfair life can be sometimes. He left my family and I with the message that you must live your life to the fullest, because it’s the only one you got. Harry was full of stories of the past and the future and I will always be sad about now spending the future with him, but I'm so glad I could share some history. Be positive to yourself and those around you and make life amazing. I hope that you can find the time to donate to spread some positivity and making someone else’s life a little more amazing. Anyone going through cancer definitely needs all they can get.

To end this off, I have chosen JustGiving because donations are 100% secure and hassle free. You won’t get any annoying emails, texts or cold calls.
