Thank you for visiting my JustGiving page.  If you know me well, you may have been quite shocked that I have signed up to run the London Marathon. I am not entirely known for my athletic abilities and it’s dawning on me that I’m going to have to give up more than a few rosé summer evenings for the long training runs in the heat this summer! :-)

Bowel cancer has unfortunately hugely affected my close family.  We tragically lost my cousin Harry in 2019 at just 27 to this dreadful disease and I know it has affected many, many lives.

Bowel Cancer UK is a fantastic charity whose vision is a future where nobody dies of bowel cancer. They are committed to funding research that improves the prevention, early detection and treatment of the disease.

I would be enormously grateful if you could consider sponsoring me for this challenge (however small). I will need all the motivation to get me through the long 26.2 miles!
